Yu Daokou Grassland and Forest Scenic Spot

Yu Daokou Grassland and Forest Scenic Spot is located in the Bashang region in the northwest of Chengde, Hebei Province, with 700,000 mu of original grassland and 200,000 mu of wetlands. From mid-June to the end of August, layers of white clouds cover the area, with vast expanses of green grasslands.

At this time, the grassland is like a colorful blanket, stretching all the way to the distant horizon, with incredibly fresh air.

Distant mountains like ink paintings, misty clouds, as if in a ten-mile gallery. The gentle breeze and white clouds endow the Yu Daokou Grassland and Forrest Scenic Spot with unparalleled beauty.

Starting from June 16, 2025, the scenic area will be open daily from 05:30 to 20:00, with the following areas open to the public:

Taiyang Hu (Lake), Taoshan Hu (Lake), Gui Shan (Mountain), Grand Canyon; Yueliang Hu (Lake), National Scenic Highway No. 1 (European Style Park).

Fengning Bashang Grassland

Fengning Bashang Grassland, also known as the "Number One Grassland North of Beijing," is located in the northwest of Fengning Manchu Autonomous County, Hebei Province, and is a paradise for photography enthusiasts.

In July, the average temperature here is around 24°C. The sky is clear blue, the clouds are pure white, and the air is filled with the fragrance of grass and trees; in the vast and sparsely populated area, one can see cattle and sheep scattered like stars on the green grass.

Here, not only can you enjoy the enchanting grassland scenery of "endless sky, vast wilderness, where the wind blows the grass low to reveal cattle and sheep," but also a variety of colorful entertainment activities.

Here, you can visit China Horse Town for a visual and auditory feast; you can also visit Tianma Flying Town to soar in the blue sky on light aircraft, powered parachutes, and hot air balloons, enjoying the plateau scenery of green grass and blue sky; you can also go to the Colorful Forest to embrace the beautiful mountains and waters, experiencing the unique Manchu culture of Fengning.

Zhangbei Zhongdu Grassland

Zhongdu Grassland is located in Zhangbei, Zhangjiakou, consisting of Zhongdu and Anguli grasslands. Here, the wild grasslands are vast and flat, vast and boundless, making it a primitive natural grassland close to Beijing with a low latitude.

Zhongdu Primitive Grassland Resort is located at an altitude of over 1400 meters, with a total grassland area of over 20,000 hectares. Various Mongolian yurts are scattered throughout, forming a natural and captivating scene with the deep blue sky, pure white clouds, lush green grassland, and leisurely horses. People here sing and dance, enjoying the refreshing summer on the grassland.

The 2025 Zhangbei Grassland Music Festival, with the theme of "the combination of wilderness and music," is scheduled for July 25th to 27th.

Grass Skyline

Grass Skyline is located in the northern part of Zhangjiakou, at the junction of the Inner Mongolia Plateau and the North China Plain, where the Yin Shan (Mountain) and Yan Shan (Mountain) ranges meet. It is approximately 324 kilometers long and is known as the "Route 66 of China."

In the peak of June, driving along the Grass Skyline in Zhangbei, windmills stand tall with their blades spinning vigorously, creating a magnificent and spectacular scenery. The winding road with steep slopes, deep gullies, and stunning landscapes gradually unfolds a picturesque view of the Bai Li Ba Tou. Wulan Butong Grassland

Wulan Butong Grassland was once a royal hunting ground in the Qing Dynasty, boasting pristine grassland scenery, ancient historical relics, and authentic ethnic customs, incorporating forests, grasslands, lakes, deserts, and wetlands. It has also been the filming location for more than 60 film and television works such as "The Kangxi Dynasty." As you drive into the scenic area, the boundless grassland unfolds before you, bringing a sense of tranquility and joy.
