Yu Daokou Grassland and Forest Scenic Spot is located in the Bashang region in the northwest of Chengde, Hebei Province, with 700,000 mu of original grassland and 200,000 mu of wetlands. From mid-June to the end of August, layers of white clouds cover the area, with vast expanses of green grasslands.

Starting from June 16, 2025, the scenic area will be open daily from 05:30 to 20:00, with the following areas open to the public:

Taiyang Hu (Lake), Taoshan Hu (Lake), Gui Shan (Mountain), Grand Canyon; Yueliang Hu (Lake), National Scenic Highway No. 1 (European Style Park).

Fengning Bashang Grassland

Fengning Bashang Grassland, also known as the "Number One Grassland North of Beijing," is located in the northwest of Fengning Manchu Autonomous County, Hebei Province, and is a paradise for photography enthusiasts.

In July, the average temperature here is around 24°C. The sky is clear blue, the clouds are pure white, and the air is filled with the fragrance of grass and trees; in the vast and sparsely populated area, one can see cattle and sheep scattered like stars on the green grass.

Zhangbei Zhongdu Grassland

Zhongdu Grassland is located in Zhangbei, Zhangjiakou, consisting of Zhongdu and Anguli grasslands. Here, the wild grasslands are vast and flat, vast and boundless, making it a primitive natural grassland close to Beijing with a low latitude.

Zhongdu Primitive Grassland Resort is located at an altitude of over 1400 meters, with a total grassland area of over 20,000 hectares. Grass Skyline is located in the northern part of Zhangjiakou, at the junction of the Inner Mongolia Plateau and the North China Plain, where the Yin Shan (Mountain) and Yan Shan (Mountain) ranges meet. It is approximately 324 kilometers long and is known as the "Route 66 of China."

In the peak of June, driving along the Grass Skyline in Zhangbei, windmills stand tall with their blades spinning vigorously, creating a magnificent and spectacular scenery. It has also been the filming location for more than 60 film and television works such as "The Kangxi Dynasty." As you drive into the scenic area, the boundless grassland unfolds before you, bringing a sense of tranquility and joy.
