The "Water Lilies" series presents the changing water scenes and colorful water lilies, bringing a breathtaking beauty.

By mid-May, the water lilies in Beijing have started to bloom one after another. You can visit the parks to enjoy the "Monet-style" water lily scenery and receive this year's "good luck lotus".

01 Taoranting Park

Taoranting Park has planted over 1000 square meters of water lilies, distributed near attractions such as Chuitai and Jinyue Pavilion.

In the early summer morning light, a gentle breeze brushes over the lake surface, creating fine ripples. The shadows of water lily flowers sway gracefully, bringing wisps of fragrance, dispelling the heat for visitors, and bringing a sense of tranquility and comfort.

02 China National Botanical Garden

The water lilies in the Chengming Hu (Lake) of the China National Botanical Garden are blooming. The calm lake water is bright as a mirror, reflecting the continuous Western Hills, with colorful water lilies lightly leaning among them, like thousands of stars scattered on the lake, bringing a sense of peace and joy.

The variety of water lilies in the southern greenhouse of the China National Botanical Garden is more abundant, with more vibrant colors. Various water lilies in different postures bloom, standing gracefully in the water, pleasing to the eye.

Location 1: Chengming Hu (Lake)

Flowering status: Currently only a small part is in bloom, scattered on the lake surface not yet in full bloom

Location 2: South Garden Greenhouse

Flowering status: Blooming all year round, with a variety of colors

03 Olympic Forest Park

The water lilies in Olympic Forest Park are blooming, with each water lily quietly blooming on the green lotus leaves, with petals either pure white like jade or pink like rouge, light and elegant, like fairies.

04 Heyi Farm Wetland Park

Under the white stone bridge in Heyi Farm Wetland Park, a large area of water lilies is in full bloom, with the breeze causing the leaves to curl up, forming green waves. The red and white lotuses among the leaves sway and look lovely as they ride the waves.

The golden sunlight in the morning and evening, sprinkled on the flowers, leaves, and water surface, with light and shadows dancing, creating a secret realm of water lilies.

05 Beijing Wenyuhe Park

In Beijing Wenyuhe Park, water lilies bloom facing the sunlight. The clear water is filled with water lilies decorating the lush green lotus leaves, resembling gradually brightening flower lanterns.

Dates: From mid to late May to July

Location: West Garden Iris Garden, Linglong Wangyue, Feipu Diecui (near Gate 6 and its parking lot)

06 Shichahai West Lake Wetland Park

Shichahai West Lake Wetland Park is the most tranquil corner among the three lakes of Shichahai, where a 1450-meter lakeside trail allows you to enjoy the beauty of the wetlands.

The water planting area of about 20,000 square meters includes water lilies, irises, reeds, and more than 50 types of aquatic plants. Currently, the water lilies have started to bloom, with scattered water lilies floating among the lotus leaves, elegant and picturesque.
