The art of appreciating ornamental stones in China has a long history. Throughout the ages, literati's love for and collection of stones have endowed Chinese ornamental stones with distinct artistic characteristics and rich cultural connotations. Today, "the art of appreciating stones" as a national-level intangible cultural heritage representative project, has gained recognition and favor from society, and is showing a vibrant development trend.
