The 32nd Beijing Miaofengshan Traditional Folk Temple Fair opened today. With the upcoming May Day holiday, come and climb the "Golden Summit" of Miaofengshan with family and friends and explore the 400-year-old intangible cultural heritage fair.
The Miaofengshan Temple Fair originated in the Ming Dynasty and has a history of over 400 years. It is one of the most important temple fairs in North China. In 2008, the Miaofengshan Temple Fair was listed in the "National Intangible Cultural Heritage List."
During the event, there will be a variety of colorful folk flower performances such as Kailu, Wuhugun, stilts yangge, and Zhongfan. Traditional offerings such as porridge, tea, steamed buns, and yuan beans are also essential at the temple fair, allowing visitors to experience traditional folk culture while enjoying the spectacular performances.
The Miaofengshan Temple Fair preserves the traditional folk auspicious culture characterized by folk beliefs in North China and has become a typical representative of traditional folk culture.

1. During the temple fair, the scenic area's operating hours are from 7:30 to 16:30.
2. The daily performance times are subject to the number of flower performances on that day and end before noon.
3. The number of daily flower performances may be subject to dynamic adjustments based on actual circumstances.
4. During the temple fair, there will be a large flow of vehicles and people, so please follow the instructions of on-site staff. It is recommended to plan your travel time reasonably in advance and try to travel during off-peak hours.

Retrace the Ancient Fragrant Path
The route covers 3.4km of the route surveyed by Mr. Gu Jiegang, leading directly to the temple fair site to witness the real scene of offering incense to the summit. Connect with the blessing culture of the "Blessed Land" and feel the charm of the "one step, one scene, one story" in the blessed land while walking.
During the journey, equipped with a century-old folk culture interpreter, the supply point will be presented in the form of an ancient porridge and tea shed, searching for century-old historical relics, tracing the footsteps of Mr. Gu Jiegang, and digging deep into the cultural connotations.

Immersive Experience at the Ancient Tea Shed
During the "May Day" holiday, visitors can participate in the immersive experience at the ancient tea shed. Follow the map below to Miaofeng Mountain's 400-year temple fair and check in!
The ancient tea sheds are implemented by villages, scenic areas, and homestays as the main bodies, providing free tea and porridge for visitors. Visitors can collect stamps at multiple tea sheds, and with 5 stamps, they can exchange for a blessing tablet or blessing flower at the temple's legal circulation office.
