01. The Badaling Great Wall

In 1987, the Great Wall was listed in the World Heritage List. The Badaling Great Wall is an outstanding representative of the Great Wall, known as "one of the nine passes under heaven." It is the most essential part of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall and is acclaimed as the first of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

1: North section

The Great Wall at Badaling is divided into the North and South sections. The North section has a gentler slope and is surrounded by large areas of wild apricot forests. The views from the North Second and North Fourth watchtowers are wide open, making them perfect for capturing panoramic views of the flower fields from above. In particular, the path leading down from the North Fourth watchtower is flanked by dense apricot forests on both sides, earning it the nickname "the most beautiful descent path" among visitors.

2: 2nd floor south, "The Most Beautiful Arrow Window"

The south section of the Badaling Great Wall is steep, and the apricot forests inside and outside the city walls have a wide area and high density. The apricot forests on both sides of the second tower in the south are particularly spectacular. Taking a photo at the "most beautiful arrow window" here is the best spot for many tourists to capture the beauty of the Great Wall and apricot blossoms.3: Appreciate the flowers while moving

Tourists can also take the North cable car to enjoy the flowers from above, reaching the vicinity of the North Tower 8, and have themselves photographed with the Great Wall and apricot blossoms in the same frame. Here, there are Syringa amurensis trees over a hundred years old, with the largest one having a diameter at breast height of 50 centimeters and a height of 16 meters.

The Syringa amurensis tree is a tall tree, known as the "Bodhi tree of the West", continuing the flowering rhythm of the big and small years. Starting in mid-June each year, the flowers bloom in full force, creating a sea of flowers on several mountain tops.

02. Juyongguan Great Wall, The Ming Tombs

The Juyongguan Flower Sea is mainly composed of Apricot blossoms and mountain Peach blossoms. The peak flowering period is expected to be from March 25th to April 15th. The S2 line is the first "train to spring" in China, running on the "Beijing-Zhangjiakou" railway, with the Great Wall winding and spring flowers everywhere.

At the 3rd-4th beacon towers of the Juyongguan Great Wall, you can not only enjoy the train passing through the flower sea but also admire the beautiful scenery of "Juyong Overlapping Greenery."

Visitors can also enjoy the beautiful scenery of the train passing through the flowers from the wooden plank viewing platform in Juyongguan Village.

Juyongguan is the largest pass of the Great Wall in the country, one of the "Nine Passes of the World" and one of the "Eight Passes of Taihang." It is known as the "Number One Pass in the World." Here, clear streams wind around, green peaks overlap, and flowers and trees are lush. It is known as "Juyong Overlapping Greenery" and is one of the "Eight Scenic Spots of Yanjing."

The scenic area is expected to open for night tours of the Great Wall from May. Under the brilliant lights, the Great Wall looks like a "giant dragon" perched among the towering mountains and ridges. Visitors can also enjoy outstanding performances.

The Ming Tombs are a group of mausoleums of the emperors of the Ming Dynasty in China. In July 2003, it was officially listed as a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO. Currently, six tombs including Changling, Dingling, Zhaoling, Kangling, Yongling, and Siling are open to the public.

When the apricot blossoms are in full bloom in the Changling Scenic Area, they complement the ancient Ming Tombs architecture. The courtyard, with over 200-year-old pear trees, exudes a serene and elegant atmosphere under the red walls and yellow tiles.

The peonies in the courtyard range from light pink to deep red, swaying gracefully in the spring breeze.

03. Beijing Huanghuacheng Lakeside Great Wall Tourist Area

The Huanghuacheng Lakeside Great Wall Tourist Area is named after three sections of the Great Wall that enter the water. It is the only section of the Great Wall in Beijing that is connected to water. It is renowned for its combination of the scenery of the northern frontier and the southern Jiangnan region. The "Four Great Wonders" are particularly captivating: the Great Wall winding around the lake, the dragon exploring the water bay, the ancient chestnut garden, and the steep cliff mountain water pool.Apricot blossoms

Haoming Hu (Lake) is surrounded by mountains on all sides, with clear and wide waters. "Taking a boat tour of the Ming Great Wall" is a unique water entertainment project in the scenic area.
