Yuyuantan Park
The 36th Cherry Blossom Cultural Event and the 6th Spring Flower Exhibition at Yuyuantan Park will kick off on March 19. Over 100 pots of early, mid, and late-season cherry blossoms will bloom in unison, creating a dazzling floral spectacle. Visitors will also have the chance to admire newly introduced early cherry blossom varieties, known for their dense clusters of flowers that create a breathtaking visual impact.
These 100+ cherry blossom pots will be displayed along the route from the park's west gate to the Cherry Blossom Garden and the Sakura Lawn. Follow the blooming trees and embark on a romantic journey through a sea of cherry blossoms.
In addition to these blossoms in Beijing, early cherry blossoms are also expected to bloom this week. Their delicate pink petals glisten under the sunlight, exuding an ethereal beauty.
Yuyuantan Park is home to nearly 3,000 cherry trees across 40+ varieties, spread throughout the park. About 70% of them are early bloomers, while the mid- and late-season varieties make up the remaining 30%.
