This exhibition features a selection of sixteen works created by Coleces over the past decade, showcasing his unique and visionary aesthetics through his distinctive perspective of "spiritual image reconstruction." The exhibition title, "Muses Sleeping After Several Naps," is derived from the sculpture "Sleeping Muse" by the modern sculpture pioneer Constantin Brâncuși, echoing Coleces' practice of integrating art historical references with contemporary digital culture. His evolving image creation practice is deeply rooted in reflecting on the present, leading the audience into a speculative future. "Several naps" directly refers to the artist's narrative practice, where surreal dreams and utopian visions oscillate between reality and unreality, arriving at ambiguous boundaries within uncertainty.
