From January 10 to 12, the stage play Mysterious Lotus Casebook, adapted from Teng Ping's original novel and the television drama of the same name, was performed at the Beijing Tianqiao Performing Arts Center. A decade later, the wandering doctor Li Lianhua encounters the chivalrous Fang Duobing and, through unexpected circumstances, finds himself drawn back into the world of martial conflicts. The play chronicles Li Lianhua's protracted farewell to the martial arts world while recounting Li Xiangyi's ascent to becoming the "Number One Under Heaven."
