Lingjiatan Site is located in Hanshan County, Maanshan City, Anhui Province, about 5,800 to 5,300 years ago, is one of the landmark sites of the Neolithic Age of Chinese civilization. Lingjiatan Site, as an important demonstration of more than 5,000 years of Chinese civilization, is a key remains, key node and key region in the process of civilization in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, and provides a physical example for the study of the origin, formation and development of Chinese civilization. Since the discovery of the site in 1985, a large number of important jade artifacts have been unearthed. It is the largest and best preserved settlement site in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River during the same period, and it is known as the "three major prehistoric jade culture centers" along with Hongshan Culture and Liangzhu Culture.
