2024-12-17

With the ongoing 12th Beijing People Beneficial Cultural Consumption Season, the 2024 Beijing Art Transaction Exhibition Month officially kicked off on December 13 at the 798 Art District, reaching its climax. Over the three-day offline event, a variety of activities, including gallery exhibitions, art sales, craft experiences, cultural markets, and art salons, provided an excellent platform for art enthusiasts to engage and trade.

Since its launch in early December, the Beijing Art Transaction Exhibition Month has been held under the theme "City of Art—Digital Era·∞", introducing an innovative 1+N+n model. A series of activities such as exhibitions, auctions, art salons, art sales, and art markets have been organized, creating an art extravaganza that will last for more than a month.

As the highlight of the event, the 2024 Beijing Art Transaction Exhibition Month featured a combination of exhibitions and markets, gathering art associations, museums, exhibition and auction institutions, and other partners. Here, visitors could not only enjoy high-quality art pieces from across the country but also interact face-to-face with the artists. Specially set up areas for craft exhibitions and museum cultural products brought together national and municipal-level intangible cultural heritage masters, as well as renowned items from museums across the country. These attracted numerous enthusiasts of traditional culture and domestic trends to browse and pick out their favorite items. Additionally, a smart interactive zone using digital technology provided an immersive experience full of fun and interactivity for the visitors.

During the exhibition month, the Beijing People Beneficial Cultural Consumption Season also partnered with key art enterprises and institutions to host several significant art events. In collaboration with the China Association of Auctioneers, over 20 art auction companies, including Hanhai Auction, Rongbao Auction, Poly Auction, and Guardian Auction, held a series of themed auctions in both online and offline formats. Other partnerships with Chinese Traditional Culture Museum, De Sheng Men Arts Crafts Emporium, Beijing Arts and Crafts Publishing House, and craft art institutions organized exhibitions and sales of craft art pieces.

This exhibition month also saw collaborations with various art institutions to launch a series of signature art activities. Among them was the digital art alliance exhibition, featuring high-quality digital art exhibitions from EPSON Teamlab, Shine More Lab, EDCC Art Cloud (Wangfujing), Return to the Old Palace, and others. Additionally, several exhibition halls and organizations joined forces to launch a series of exhibitions, including Infinity Land—A Digital Inspired Future, Super DunFun, Journey of the Dragon, Meet You Museum series, EPSON Teamlab permanent exhibition, Artron.Net online and offline exhibitions, and more. The diverse art forms and meticulously planned exhibition themes allowed visitors to enjoy a rich and colorful art experience throughout the exhibition month.
