Don't miss these exquisite exhibitions in the park when visiting during winter. Not only can you feel the warmth indoors, but you can also appreciate palace intangible cultural heritage techniques, rare porcelain collections, and various handicrafts... This winter, come to the park and unlock the beauty of early winter in Beijing's parks in a different way.
Jingshan Park
After the strong winds of winter, the Beijing sky becomes particularly clear. From the Wanchun Pavilion in Jingshan Park, you can see the distant Xishan Mountain at a glance.
At sunset, you can also take photos of the Forbidden City under the setting sun, which is magnificent and breathtaking, with an extraordinary atmosphere.
In this early winter season, the Guande Hall in Jingshan Park has a new exhibition! This is the first time that Jingshan Park has introduced Beijing's palace intangible cultural heritage techniques. The exhibition, "75 Years Huazhang · Beijing Palace Intangible Cultural Heritage Fine Exhibition," brings together more than 70 representative works from national and municipal arts and crafts masters and intangible cultural heritage inheritors, fully demonstrating the artistic development achievements and diverse characteristics of Beijing's arts and crafts.
Exhibition period: November 22, 2024, to mid-December 2024, closed on Mondays (except for statutory holidays).
Exhibition opening hours: 8:30 to 16:30, entry stops at 17:00, and closes at Jingshan Park Guande Hall (north side inside the east gate of the park).
The Summer Palace

The West Dam of the Summer Palace also has a different kind of beauty in the blue sky and white clouds of early winter.
If you get cold while strolling in the park, you can immediately take shelter in a building and warm up by viewing an exhibition.
