It offers an immersive experience where audiences can appreciate the beauty of restoration, rebirth, and artistic fusion within these exceptional works. Additionally, VR technology has been used to create virtual representations of several pieces, allowing visitors to experience Caravaggio's art and his era up close and personally.

2. THE COUNTLESS ASPECTS OF BEAUTY IN ANCIENT ART

Centered on the theme of "Beauty," this exhibition presents a vivid aesthetic panorama of ancient Greece from three unique perspectives, challenging the stereotypical view of "Ancient Greece = Classical Period Greece." A total of 279 representative artifacts from the Hellenic National Archaeological Museum are showcased, spanning an impressive 5,000 years and encompassing all major historical periods of ancient Greece. The extensive quantity, variety, and cultural significance of these pieces make this exhibition one of the most notable of its kind in recent years!

3. Red Flags Flying Like Paintings: An Exhibition of Classic Red Artifacts  

Exhibition Opening Date: September 29  

Location: Central Hall  

In celebration of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, this exhibition presents over 60 red-themed artifacts from the revolutionary era, including the red flags of revolutionary times, the Five-Star Red Flag of New China, the Party flag, and classic artworks of revolutionary themes. Additionally, 100 high-resolution contemporary photographs themed around the national flag are on display. For the first time, the exhibit features a 3D naked-eye dynamic display, vividly illustrating the creation of the Five-Star Red Flag and showcasing its majestic presence across China's vast landscapes in the new era.

4. Phoenix Kingdoms: The Last Splendor of China's Bronze Age

This exhibition is divided into three sections, featuring over 200 exquisite artifacts from five major museums in Hubei Province. The collection includes bronzeware, jade, lacquerware, and silk textiles, showcasing the diverse materials and unique styles of Zeng and Chu artifacts. These artistic treasures reflect the rich history and vibrant artistry of the Zeng and Chu states and highlight the latest achievements in archaeological research.

Exhibition Dates: October 1, 2024 – January 5, 2025  

Location: Meridian Gate Gallery

In 2024, marking the 2,575th anniversary of Confucius's birth and the 30th anniversary of the International Confucian Association, this exhibition aims to strengthen Chinese cultural cohesion and influence while promoting the study and dissemination of Confucianism and traditional Chinese culture. Nearly 380 artifacts (sets) from the Palace Museum's collection, along with contributions from over 30 other archaeological and cultural institutions domestically and internationally, will be displayed.  

The exhibition is divided into three sections, exploring the historical development of Confucian culture through rich archaeological evidence, classical texts, and treasured artifacts. It highlights Confucianism's core values and the profound influence it has had worldwide.

2. Rujian | IN A STRAW CLOAK SPEND MY LIFE IN MIST AND RAIN

Spanning 2000 square meters with 8 major exhibition areas, this immersive exhibition combines a realistic Song-style 3D space, multimedia sensory interactions, and panoramic art installations. Overseas Chinese History Museum of China

"Nine Days in Yan'an" — Special Exhibition on the 150th Anniversary of the Birth of Chen Jiageng

The exhibition focuses on Chen Jiageng's nine-day visit to Yan'an in 1940, divided into three parts. 1. Boundless Love — National Special Education Schools (Institutes) Student Artworks Invitation Exhibition

This exhibition showcases over 160 pieces (sets) of artwork created by students from 51 special education institutions, inclusive education universities, and 25 graduated disabled artists from across the country. 2. Lucky Years — Shanghai History Museum's Annual Painting Exhibition

1. DE LA SEINE À LA RUE GUANGHUA: LA MODERNISATION DES ARTS DÉCORATIFS

Exhibition Dates: November 2, 2024 - February 16, 2025  

Location: Fourth Floor, Exhibition Halls 7 and 14  

This exhibition showcases five artists—Pang Xunqin, Lei Guiyuan, Zheng Ke, Wu Guanzhong, and Chang Shana—who were inspired by the waves of modern thought and artistic transformation. Some studied in France, while others lived and grew up there. The academic ideals and ideas of these pioneering figures were passed down to their students in various forms, which then improved the quality of life for the general public and contributed to the nation's major projects and economic needs. This process of passing down knowledge and values created a series of influential and compelling achievements that helped shape the national image of modern China and promoted the cultural spirit of the new era. The ideals and spirit of the predecessors continue to be the intellectual backbone and academic foundation of this academy. This exhibition is held in celebration of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and France.

2. African Art: A New Rediscovery

Exhibition Dates: September 28, 2024 - December 15, 2024  

Location: Fourth Floor, Exhibition Hall 12  

Supported by the Gulf of Guinea African International Art Museum, the Tsinghua University Art Museum, in collaboration with the Tsinghua University China-Africa Leadership Development Center, presents the "African Art: A New Rediscovery." The exhibition is divided into four sections and features 200 pieces (sets) of artwork, showcasing the rich diversity of African art from various perspectives.

1. The Soul of Russia: Selected Pieces of Painting from the State Tretyakov Gallery collection

Exhibition Dates: September 15, 2024 - December 8, 2024

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia, and the launch of the "2024-2025 China-Russia Cultural Year." This exhibition is divided into three sections, showcasing the historical significance of the Grand Canal as a vital waterway, the cultural and scenic charm of cities along the canal, and the thriving ecological environment of the region. The exhibition aims to highlight the Grand Canal's past and present, while looking forward to its future development and value.
