There are various ways to enjoy the autumn foliage: stroll through forests carpeted with fallen leaves for an up-close view of fiery red maples and golden-hued leaves, take a cable car to overlook the rolling mountains adorned with splashes of red and green, or ride a sightseeing vehicle through the colorful peaks and forests, experiencing the rugged mountain trails.

Huangyaguan Great Wall

Located at the northernmost tip of Jizhou District, the Huangyaguan Great Wall stretches 42 kilometers and is part of China's ancient wall system.

In late autumn, the Great Wall is adorned with brilliant golds and reds, dressed in vibrant maple, oak, persimmon, torch, ginkgo, and red leaf trees. From a distance, it appears as a golden painting. After exploring attractions such as Taipingzhai, Widow Tower, Huangyazhengguan, and Bagua City, ascend to the mountaintop for a breathtaking view of the colorful forests below. The predominant species here is the yellow leaf tree, along with wild maples, persimmons, and torch trees, all found below an elevation of 1,000 meters.

To facilitate visitors eager to experience the autumn colors, a round-trip special line from Shijiazhuang to Xiantai Mountain has been established. Tourists can take the special line directly to the Xiantai Mountain Scenic Area from the South Jiao Bus Station or the North Bus Station in Shijiazhuang.

Fozhao Mountain

In the late autumn, Fozhao Mountain reaches the peak of its red leaf viewing season, draping itself in a stunning cloak woven from the leaves of yellow locust trees.

This sky gallery features a specially designed aerial scenic road that connects the vibrant red leaves of the Taihang Mountains, renowned for its unique and stunning landscapes.

The 40-kilometer scenic route reaches a maximum altitude of 1,600 meters, meandering beautifully and accessible for both self-driving and hiking.

Along the way, the fiery red leaves contrast with the towering mountain terrain, creating a picturesque setting at every turn—truly a place where "people wander through the canyons as if stepping into a painting."
