In the ancient city of Beijing, there are many old temples and cultural sites, and Wuta Temple is one of the low-key ones.
Although the name of Wuta Temple is simple, its real name is "Zhenjue Temple". On the high platform of the temple stand five stone pagodas, which are commonly known as "Wuta" by the locals. These stone pagodas are the Diamond Throne Pagoda, built in the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty, and have stood for several centuries.
The autumn flavor here is very strong, with persimmon trees scattered on the east, west, and north sides of the stone pagodas. The persimmons are growing well, with large and plump fruits like small red lanterns hanging heavily on the branches, which is very pleasing to the eye!
There are buildings such as the Hall of Heavenly Kings, the Great Hall of the Mahavira, and the Scripture Pavilion in the temple, and the Diamond Throne Pagoda is the treasure of the temple. There are also many stone carvings and ancient relics to be enjoyed together. Free explanations are available at 10:00 and 14:00 every day.
There is also a 600-year-old ginkgo tree here. In late autumn, the leaves of the ginkgo tree turn golden and shine brightly, attracting countless tourists to come and admire it. Whether locals or foreign tourists, everyone is attracted by the beautiful scenery and come here to "check-in". It is an excellent place to enjoy autumn in Beijing.
