Yangliuqing Crispy Sugar:This traditional treat is made through a pure handcrafted process, where artisans fold and stretch the mixture over a hundred times, resulting in an internal structure with over 120 layers. The main ingredients include sesame, sesame oil, white sugar, and osmanthus flowers. The production process consists of six steps: processing sesame seeds, boiling sugar, mixing the sugar with sesame, cutting into pieces, applying sugar, and packaging. The sesame processing alone involves multiple steps, including soaking, peeling, drying, roasting, smoking, husking, sieving, and grinding, with a strong emphasis on mastering the timing and temperature at each stage.
