The Ming Tombs
The Ming Tombs is a national 5A-level tourist attraction and a concentrated display of Ming Dynasty culture. Together with Fun Capital, these two areas form a micro-vacation demonstration site that integrates tourism, sightseeing, shopping, and leisure, offering visitors a rich and diverse experience.
The Ming Tombs is a burial site for the emperors of the Ming Dynasty, located at the foothills of Tianshou Mountain in the Yan Mountain range, on the northwest outskirts of Beijing in Changping District.
When visiting the Ming Tombs scenic area, the majority of visitors choose to start at the Sacred Way, which is approximately 7.3 kilometers long. Along the route, there are a series of royal ceremonial buildings.
The highlight of the Sacred Way is the Stone Statues, which house the largest and best-preserved group of stone figures in China. These statues represent the highest level of ancient Chinese large-scale sculpture art and hold unparalleled artistic and cultural significance.

The Xiangshan Museum of the Founding of New China is located at the foot of Xiangshan Mountain. It features a permanent exhibition that is currently the only large-scale display in the country showcasing the glorious history of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China during its time in Xiangshan. The exhibition includes over 800 photographs and more than 1,200 cultural relics.
The Beijing Xiangshan Museum of the Founding of New China Site of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (Former Site) is located in the southern foothills of the park and serves as a national demonstration base for patriotic education.
Xiangshan Park
Xiangshan Park is renowned for its long history of beautiful autumn foliage, attracting many visitors each fall. In recent years, the park has been actively planting more representative species of Xiangshan red leaves to enhance the richness of autumn colors.
Recently, the 36th "Beijing Evening News · Xiangshan Red Leaf Festival" kicked off. This year, the park has selected 18 colorful leaf viewing spots based on different scenic effects, marking them on a detailed map. The "Leaf Viewing Map" provides visitors with more options for enjoying the vibrant autumn scenery.
The best time to enjoy the Xiangshan red leaves is primarily from mid-October to mid-November each year. According to observations by the park's phenology monitoring team, the average color change rate of the leaves in the park was 19.4% on October 17.
