Beihai Park features the theme "Chrysanthemum Blossoms Abound in Autumn Fragrance," which beautifully integrates elements of traditional Chinese specimens and Kaifeng art chrysanthemums, relying on the historical sites of Chanfu Temple and the Wanfo Pavilion. The park presents a unique autumn scene where chrysanthemums cluster and bloom vibrantly between the palatial halls and exquisite towers, creating a stunning and fragrant display that captures the essence of the season.

Within and around Chanfu Temple, various small sculptures are set up featuring Kaifeng art chrysanthemums as the main attraction, complemented by seasonal flowers and some hardscapes to create a rich visual effect. In the inner courtyard of Chanfu Temple, a photo opportunity has been established with large, handcrafted single-stem chrysanthemum displays in the foreground, set against a backdrop of book-shaped sculptures. The pages of the book feature the text "Welcome to the 45th Beijing Chrysanthemum Exhibition" alongside a pattern of the White Pagoda, highlighting the historical and cultural significance of chrysanthemum cultivation in Beihai Park.

The site of the Wanfo Pavilion features a display of specimen chrysanthemums, showcasing over 20 chrysanthemum works submitted by various chrysanthemum associations. The exhibition also includes traditional Chinese specimen chrysanthemum varieties from Beihai Park and newly developed varieties. The exhibition will continue until October 18.
