Guanyin Temple was built in the 10th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1582 AD). Guanyin Temple is a temple with Guanyin as its main worship and a combination of Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism. It is also the only and best existing hanging sculpture of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism in Ming Dynasty in China, with unique historical, artistic and scientific value. It is known as "the crown of hanging plastic in the sea, the treasures of hanging plastic in the Ming Dynasty, and the cultural treasures of the Shangdang".
