2024-10-08

Beijing Olympic Park has recently launched a 7.5-kilometer cycling route, offering a 24-minute ride that allows cyclists to check off numerous iconic venues while enjoying scenic views along the way.

Along the cycling route, enthusiasts will pass by key landmarks such as the China National Convention Center, China National Arts and Crafts Museum, the Exhibition Hall of the History of the Communist Party of China, and the National Indoor Stadium. Riders can enjoy stunning views of the Bird's Nest, Water Cube, and the Olympic Central Area Plaza without entering the core Olympic Park, offering a great way to appreciate the major venues from the outside.

In addition to major landmark venues, the cycling route offers even more surprises. Near the Olympic Tower and the main sightseeing road, Chaoyang District has developed a cyclist-friendly community. This area features brand stores, cafes, light dining options, bike rentals, and markets. It even provides one-stop services such as sporting gear and accessories, bike assembly, tuning, and repairs. A bike rental service also makes it easy for visitors to tour the Olympic Park while enjoying the convenience of cycling.

Along the route, cycling stations regularly host themed activities and pop-up events by sports brands, making the ride more enjoyable and engaging. These stations are also equipped with cafes, professional bike maintenance shops, and stores selling cultural products, offering cyclists a place to rest, socialize, and enjoy more leisure options.

The cycling route is a closed loop, allowing riders to start at any point along the way. With a moderate distance, it is suitable for cyclists of all skill levels to participate and enjoy the experience.
