China Open Tennis Tournament

The China Open Tennis Tournament, commonly referred to as the China Open, is one of the most influential tennis events in China, attracting top tennis players and a large audience from around the globe. The 2024 tournament will be grandly held at the Beijing National Tennis Center, showcasing the charm and excitement of tennis.

Venue and Events Schedule

- Opening Ceremony: Date: September 26, 2024 (Thursday)

- Tournament Duration: September 23, 2024 (Monday) to October 6, 2024 (Sunday)

The tournament will take place at four main venues within the Beijing National Tennis Center, with the Diamond Court being the main stadium where the semifinals and finals will be held. The other venues include the Lotus Court, the Moonlight Court, and the Brad Court.

Buying Channels:

Subway:Take Line 8 of the Beijing Metro and get off at Lin Cui Qiao Station. 

The running time of Line 8 will be extended appropriately based on the daily match end times.

Buses: Bus routes 81, 510, 478, 379, and Express Route 44 can all reach the National Tennis Center directly. Walk to West Gate 1 to enter.

Custom Bus Lines: 

- Route 1: Fuxingmen - Xizhimen South - Metro Lin Cui Qiao Exit A 

- Route 2:Ritan Road - Dongzhimen North - Metro Lin Cui Qiao Station Exit A 

These services will take you directly to the South Gate of the National Tennis Center, located north of the Speed Skating Hall. You can check and reserve rides through the Beijing Custom Bus upgrade mini-program or the Beijing Custom Bus APP.

Search for "China Open Tennis" on the Amap app. 

1. For the following parking lots, it’s recommended to walk to the South Gate of the National Tennis Center:

- b. Olympic Forest Park International Zone Parking Lot 

- c. National Speed Skating Hall Underground Parking Lot   

2. For the following parking lots, it’s recommended to walk to West Gate 1 of the National Tennis Center: 

- a. Olympic Forest Park North Garden West Gate Parking Lot 

3. For the following parking lots, it’s recommended to take a shuttle bus to the South Gate of the National Tennis Center: 

- a. Beichenhui Parking Lot 

- b. Asia Financial Center Underground Parking Lot

- d. Olympic Forest Park National Olympic Village Parking Lot

Exhibition of China’s Tennis History and Culture

- Dates:September 24 - October 6 

- Hours: Daily from 12:00 to 20:00 (Entry stops at 19:00) 

- Location:6th Floor of the Diamond Court (accessible via Elevator 2) 

- Highlight:Experience the charm of Chinese tennis through valuable historical photos, wooden paddle collections, and signed rackets from Chinese players. This year, coinciding with the Olympics, an Olympic Culture Wall will also be featured, showcasing the developmental history of Chinese tennis in the Olympics.

Tennis for All Charity Booth 

- Location: Youyou Yingyue Market 

- Dates: September 23 - October 6, Daily from 10:00 to 20:00 

- Highlight: The China Open has specially launched a charity booth, conducting activities such as "Mystery Box for Tennis" and "Old Ball Recycling." Everyone is encouraged to bring old tennis balls to the Youyou Yingyue Market to earn points and receive market vouchers, contributing to the integration of charity and sports consumption.
