Longqing Gorge

Longqing Gorge has not only the soft and graceful scenery of southern China, but also  the vigorous and masculine scenery of northern China. It is a collection of the characteristics of north and south mountains and rivers. It is a bright pearl in the suburbs of Beijing.

Longqing Gorge is known as the 'Little Li River' in the suburbs of Beijing. It is now a good time to enjoy the scenery by boat, green and clear river, the cliffs on both sides, and the green plants on the rocks. Taking a boat to travel, the cool breeze is in front of you. The coolness in the gorge and hot weather in the canyon forms a strong contrast, which is pretty comfortable.

Surrounded by mountains and water, more than 30 landscapes created by nature such as the  Zhong Mountain and Moon Bay could be  eye-opening and breathtaking.

Shilinxia

Shilinxia Scenic area is located in Huangsongyu Village of Pinggu District. It is composed of deep and winding stone forest gorge and four groups of stone forest peaks. It is named for the steep and tall peaks which are like stone forests in the valley.

With a total length of 6 kilometers, the canyon is deep and tortuous, and the narrowest point is only more than 3 meters as the sky opens a line. On both sides, there are dense forests, steep cliffs and colorful stone peaks. Climbing through the 'sky ladder', it is surprised to see the rolling clouds, magnificent momentum, a group of large-scale stone forest group in front of the eyes, which forms great contrast woth the elegant quietness of the canyon. In the same valley, there are different environments.  

Here the mountains are high and steep, and streams rush down from the mountains or valleys to form waterfalls, or hide in deep mountains and canyons to form a pool. It has the reputation of 'nine waterfalls and eighteen pools'. Entering the deep canyon, the hot air is isolated and you are accompanied by waterfalls and flowing water, which makes you feel cool.

Green Dragon Gorge

Green Dragon Gorge is located in the junction of Huairou District plain and mountainous. The peaks are straight, the mountains are steep, and the ancient Great Wall is like a giant dragon lying between the mountains. 

Going up long the mountain slowly, the scenery of Green Dragon Gorge gradually come to your view, where you can see the green waves of Miyun Reservoir in the east, the great plain of Northern Beijing in the north, the sunset and the old city of Huairou in the west, the Great Wall winding in the north.

The mountains on both sides of the scenic area are majestic with dense vegetation. There are always ripples on the Longxia Lake. Taking a boat on the green waves, or taking the cable  through the valley, step by step, the scenery changes and you will get lost in it.

The Cool Valley

The Cool Valley Scenic Spot is located in the shady slope of Yunmeng Mountain. The water of the White River flows through the gate of the scenic spot all year round. The unique geographical position determines a cool climate in the valley.

The Cool Lake is like a green gem inlaid in the center of the scenic spot. The naturally-formed lake is surrounded by mountains and gathered with mountain springs and waterfalls. The water area is more than 10,000 square meters. The water is blue and clear, and the lake is calm as a mirror. On the east bank of the Cool Lake, tourists can take bamboo rafts and cruise boats to experience 'boating on the blue waves, travelling in the painting'.

The Cool Valley also has a special view of the 'Crystal Great Wall' which is made of crystal bricks. Looking from a distance, it is like an ice sculpture that is white and flawless. The sun sprinkles on the crystal clear walls, beacon towers, reflecting the colorful light. When you come here, you will find that the Great Wall is not only ancient in style, but can also be endowed with modern ideas.
