Yunmeng Mountain Scenic Spot

Yunmeng Mountain Scenic Area is located in Shicheng Town, western Miyun District. It is a famous scenic spot, national forest park, and national geological park in Beijing.

Yunmeng Mountain is one of the mountains of Yanshan Mountains, characterized by spectacular granite landscapes and unique structure of metamorphic core complex. The main peak is 1413 meters above sea level and was formed 113 million years ago. Yunmeng Mountain possesses the magnificence of Mount Tai, the steepness of Hua Mountain, the wonder of Mount Huang, and is known as the ‘Little Mount Huangshan in the North’.

Yunmeng Mountain Scenic Area integrates  ecological leisure and nature learning, with a 2.5-kilometer cableway, a lakeside tent restaurant in the 520 Love Valley halfway up the mountain, a bridge with heart locks, high mountain cascading waterfalls, a pine tower amusement park, 3D painting, and other romantic attractions. It is a rare scenic spot in Beijing where you can enjoy the mountains, waters, the great wall, clouds, waterfalls, and club moss.

Yaji Mountain Scenic Area

Yaji Mountain is a holy land of Taoism in North China with an altitude of 361 meters. It is named after the towering peaks of two mountains that resemble the buns on ancient girls' heads. It enjoys many reputations such as the ‘Golden Top’ and ‘Bless Land Near Beijing’.

The Goddess Bixia Ancestral Temple on Yaji Mountain has a history of more than 1400 years and was originally built in Tang Dynasty.  There are imperial plaques of four emperors, Kangxi, Qianlong, Jiaqing, and Daoguang, hanging inside and outside the temple. It is very rare for a Taoist temple to have plaques inscribed by four emperors of the Qing Dynasty at the same time. The Eastern Jade Emperor Hall was built to celebrate the 60th birthday of Emperor Kangxi. Taking a close look, it features upturned eaves, sparkling colored glaze and the magnificent building. It is a landmark of Yaji Mountain.

The beautiful scenery and lush trees of Yaji Mountain makes it a great place to climb and enjoy the scenery and cool off in the summer.  Climbing the twin peaks, in a flash, people can feel the charm of an ancient view of thousands of years.

Yudu Mountain Scenic Area

Yudu Mountain is located in the northwest of Yanqing District. In the deep mountains, it is rarely visited with beautiful scenery and quiet environment. The clear, quiet, tranquil and wild environment, together with the mountains, stones, forests, springs, waterfalls, flowers and grass, shapes the beauty of Yudu Mountain.

With mountains and streams embracing each other, Yudu Mountain has competition show of the highest peaks, the forest vegetation  inhabited by a variety of animals. Every summer, climbing the Yudu Mountain, you can enjoy the shade of willows, green grass, the air that is filled with fresh smell of the mountain. Also, you can hear the sound of summer cicadas, streams murmuring and wandering, and the beautiful valley music reverberated in your ears.

Heyi Waterfall is located in the core area of the scenic spot. Walking along the stream, stepping on the stones and going through a water curtain, you can hear the sound of water far away. You can take a close-up photo to meet the wish to see the waterfall. Flowing down from the top of the mountain, the waterfall looks like white silk floating down. Open your hands to welcome the cool water vapor like sand, you can feel fresh all over.

Miaofeng Mountain Scenic spot

Miaofeng Mountain is located in the north of Miaofeng Mountain town of Mentougou District, as one of Taihang Mountains. With the main peak 1291 meters above sea level, it is the highest one of the ‘Xiaoxishan of western Beijing’. It is also the nearest peak from the capital city that is over one kilometer above sea level.

Miaofeng Mountain field is vast with beautiful water and mountains, deep and quiet valley, lush forest, abrupt peaks, green pines and cypress, which outlines a beautiful picture together.

The high altitude contributes to a unique microclimate on Miaofeng Mountain. In the intense heat, the sun is shining fiercely at the foot of the mountain while in the mountains and valleys it is quite cool with clouds and shade of trees. Walking through the wide meadow, you can feel the fresh air, pleasant climate, cloves, silver lotus and other wildflowers everywhere, are all very beautiful.
