With the crisp autumn air and pleasant weather, it's the perfect time for outings and shopping. On September 20, another large shopping center has been added to the city's sub-center—Sho Kai Tongzhou MixC. Besides that, several new attractions have recently debuted in the capital as well!

Part.01: Sho Kai Tongzhou MixC

The large commercial complex in the Beijing Municipal Administrative Center, Sho Kai Tongzhou MixC, has officially opened its doors to the public.

Sho Kai Tongzhou MixC is located in the heart of the Beijing Municipal Administrative Center, at the intersection of Yunhe East Street and Tongji Road. This large commercial complex is infused with elements of the Grand Canal, covering a total construction area of approximately 148,000 square meters. The commercial space spans seven floors above ground and two floors underground.

Sho Kai Tongzhou MixC is positioned as a "regional one-stop high-quality shopping center," injecting new commercial vitality into the area.

This shopping center features over 260 stores, including 100 first stores in the region, 37 high-energy retailers, and 5 customized shops. Additionally, each floor has its own unique characteristics.

At the grand opening, a collaboration with the famous trendy toy brand Pop Mart has launched the "PUCKY Meow Meow Wobble Series National Premier Exhibition," providing consumers with an exceptional shopping experience. Be sure to check it out!

Part 02: Mei Lanfang Memorial Museum

After renovations and updates to its exhibitions, the Mei Lanfang Memorial Museum opened for a trial period to the public on September 10, showcasing a brand-new look.

The Mei Lanfang Memorial Museum (Mei Lanfang's Former Residence) was originally part of the Qing Dynasty Prince Qing's residence. In 1951, Mei Lanfang moved into this quiet and peaceful courtyard, where he spent the last ten years of his life.

The former residence is divided into two parts: the main courtyard and the outer courtyard. The main courtyard preserves the original appearance of the residence, with the reception room, study, bedroom, and living room arranged according to how Mei Lanfang lived during his lifetime.

Part 03: Shidai GuildHall

On September 10, after renovations, the 400-year-old Shidai GuildHall in Anhui reopened to the public.

Shidai GuildHall is oriented southeast to northwest and features a two-entry four-sided courtyard layout.

This ancient guildhall was established in the fourth year of the Tianqi era during the Ming Dynasty (1624 AD) and reached its peak during the Qing Dynasty. Over the centuries, the guildhall provided meals and accommodations for scholars traveling to the capital for exams and merchants conducting business in Beijing. It has also played a role in developing public welfare initiatives, witnessing the historical changes of cultural exchange and integration between the Beijing and Chizhou regions.

Part 04: Hongwen Pavilion

The Changping Political Consultative Conference Cultural and Historical Museum, along with the Changping Urban Reading Room, located within Hongwen Pavilion in Changping Park, has officially opened to the public.

Hongwen Pavilion integrates the functions of the Changping Political Consultative Conference Cultural and Historical Museum, the Changping Urban Reading Room, and a branch of the Changping Library. This multifunctional space aims to enhance cultural offerings and engage social resources, further improving the visiting experience for local residents.

The Changping Political Consultative Conference Cultural and Historical Museum comprehensively showcases the achievements of the Changping Political Consultative Conference since its establishment. It also serves as a reflection of the high-quality economic and social development in Changping over the past 40 years.

The Changping Urban Reading Room features a thoughtful layout with ample natural light, creating a warm and comfortable reading atmosphere. The reading room houses a substantial collection of books that highlight the unique characteristics of Changping. These books are undoubtedly a valuable cultural treasure.

Part 05: Restoration of the Former Site of the General Front Committee of the Pingjin Front

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. In January 75 years ago, the General Front Committee of the Pingjin Front, located in Songzhuang Town, Tongzhou District, issued the order to capture Tianjin, which facilitated the third Beiping negotiations and witnessed the peaceful liberation and takeover of Beiping (now Beijing).

To commemorate the remarkable achievements of the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries and to reflect on the historical significance of the Pingjin Campaign, the special exhibition titled "Strategizing for Victory: Restoration of the Former Site of the General Front Committee of the Pingjin Front" opened on September 14 at the former command site in Songzhuang.

The special exhibition covers an area of 360 square meters and features over 60 precious historical photographs, along with more than 80 artifacts and documents.
