Universal Beijing Resort's autumn theme event brings new cultural and tourism experiences

2024-09-18

Recently, Universal Beijing Resort launched the "2024 Scares of Universal" seasonal autumn-themed event. During this period, the theme park's operating hours are extended until 10 PM. The event will run until November 3, open from Thursday to Monday each week (excluding Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and October 3), offering a diverse cultural tourism experience for both domestic and international visitors, promoting new cultural tourism consumption.

This year marks the second consecutive year that Universal Beijing Resort is launching the autumn-themed event. The event has been further upgraded, introducing three new scare zones: "Jack's Circus," "Mansion No. 81," and "Surprise Farm." The classic IP story "Jack's Circus" makes its debut at Universal Beijing Resort, offering an immersive experience in a highly realistic circus environment where guests can explore behind the scenes. "Mansion No. 81" transports visitors to a "movie shooting set," allowing them to experience thrilling adventures firsthand. The popular "Surprise Farm," which garnered much attention last year, also returns, inviting guests to uncover its mysteries once again.

An Binjie, Makeup and Styling Manager at Universal Beijing Resort, stated, "For makeup and styling, the ‘2024 Scares of Universal' global makeup team has used over 9,000 special effect skins this year to create the amazing characters within the cinematic world." The richly detailed and three-dimensional characters offer visitors a cinematic-level visual experience through the special effects makeup.

According to the relevant person in charge, "At Universal Studios around the world, the event has been a tradition for over 30 years, during which more than 200 original scare stories have been created, attracting millions of visitors each year."

This year, the three scare zones do not require online reservations or separate tickets; entry is on a first-come, first-served basis with on-site queues. All three scare zones offer the "2024 Scares of Universal" Universal Express pass. From "viewing" to "immersing," the event allows visitors to experience a movie-level production world, providing an immersive experience.
