Xicheng District

Beihai Park

From July 14 to August 31, the Yong’an Temple, Yilan Hall, Yuegu Tower, Huafang Studio, Jingxin Studio, Western Heavenly Buddhist Realm, Kuai Xue Hall, Chanfu Temple, and the site of the Ten Thousand Buddha Tower in Beihai Park will be open to the public for citizens and tourists on Monday.

Jingshan Park

From July 14 to August 31, the Shouhuang Hall and Guande Hall, Huguo Zhongyi Temple, and the Northwest Science Popularization Hut in Jingshan Park will be open to the public on Mondays.

Taoranting Park

From July 14 to August 31, the Compassion Nunnery and the Science Popularization Hut in Taoranting Park will be open to the public on Mondays.

Beijing Xuannan Culture Museum

From July 13 to August 31, the Beijing Xuannan Culture Museum will extend its opening hours until 18:30 (last entry at 18:00) every Saturday and Sunday.

Starting from July 8, the daily individual visitor reservation requirement is lifted, while group visits require a reservation by phone three days in advance. Guided tours, themed activities, and special events during extended hours should be reserved through the official WeChat public account of the Beijing Xuannan Culture Museum.

During the extended hours, from 17:00 to 18:00, the museum offers an immersive study experience titled “The World’s Responsibility: Graceful Character Shines in Xuannan” (a spin-off of “Xuannan’s Past Scholars”).

Beijing Zoo

From July 14 to August 31, the Changguan Building at Beijing Zoo will be open to the public on Mondays as usual. Visitors are welcome to explore and enjoy the exhibits.

Beijing Planetarium

Starting from July 17 through the end of the summer vacation, the Beijing Planetarium will adjust its closing days and extend its opening hours as follows:

The original Monday closing day will be changed to Tuesday.

On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, the opening hours will be extended by 1.5 hours, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (last ticket sold at 5:30 PM).

On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, the opening hours will be extended by 2.5 hours, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM (last ticket sold at 6:30 PM).

National Botanical Garden in Haidian District

During the summer period (July 15 - August 31), the garden and its inner attractions will remain open on Mondays, canceling the previously scheduled closing day.

Summer Palace

During the summer period (July 15 - August 31), the Summer Palace and its inner attractions will remain open on Mondays, canceling the previously scheduled closing day.

Wonderful Night Activities

Event Dates: June 9, 2024, to September 30, 2024, with specific sessions adjusted according to actual circumstances.

Participation Method: Registration is on a family basis, and individual children are not accepted. Each session is limited to 15 family groups, not exceeding 40 people. This activity is a paid event.

Zhoukoudian Peking Man Site Museum

China Fangshan World GEOpark Museum

From July 18 to September 1, 2024, the museum will be open to the public on Mondays, canceling the usual closure.

Tongzhou District

Beijing (Tongzhou) Grand Canal Cultural Tourism Area

From May 1 to October 7, the cruise boats will operate nightly with three sailings each night at 19:10, 19:50, and 20:30.

Shunyi District

Beijing Hebei Village Folk Culture Scenic Area

During the summer (July 17 to August 31, 2024), the area will extend its opening hours from 9:00 to 22:00, with last entry at 21:00 and closing at 22:00. The village history museum will close at 16:00.

Changping District

The Ming Tombs (Changling, Dingling, Zhaoling, Sacred Way)

Starting from April 1, 2024, the opening hours will be adjusted to 8:30 to 18:00, with last ticket sales and last entry at 17:30.

Juyongguan Great Wall 

From March 16, 2024, the opening hours will be adjusted. Ticket offices 1 and 3 will operate from 6:30 to 18:00, with last ticket sales and last entry at 17:30. Ticket offices 2 and 4 will operate from 8:30 to 18:00, with last ticket sales and last entry at 16:30.

Night tour activities will be available from May 1 to October 12. The night tour will be open on Fridays, Saturdays, and public holidays (not on the last day of public holidays) from 18:30 to 22:00, with last ticket sales at 21:00.

Yue Kong Holiday Plaza

The Visionland will launch summer activities from July 14 to August 13. The theme is Watermelon Electro-splash Music Festival. Operating hours will be 9:30-21:00 from Monday to Thursday and 9:30-22:00 on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Huairou District

Yanqi Lake

From May 1 to October 7, entry to the park will be free from 19:00 to 22:00 on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, with discounts on entertainment projects.

Night Tour Activities

Entertainment experience programs, live performances, camping experiences, and gourmet dining are the four major themes.

Entertainment experience projects include night cruises, roller coasters, and carousels.

Live performances will include nearly 200 folk music and traditional instrumental solos at various venues.

Camping experiences are available at the Bay Wood Campsite.

Culinary and dining - Food Street, Bamboo Grove Beer House, and Cross-Strait Coffee Themed Dining Area, offering over 30 kinds of delicacies such as skewers, steaks, and special snacks, as well as more than 10 summer beverages. It can accommodate over 500 diners at the same time.

Mutianyu Great Wall

From July 1 to August 31, the operating hours will be 7:00 to 21:30, with the night tour from 17:30 to 21:30.

Night Tour

During the night tour, the scenic area opens the Muzi No. 10 to No. 15 enemy towers, allowing visitors to view the Great Wall’s lighting. On the 12th, 13th, and 14th, there will be interactive projections featuring small animals and elements of nature for visitors to enjoy. Around 8:30 PM, a digital countdown will be projected onto the distant mountains using lasers, followed by an animation showcasing the route of the Great Wall from the Ming Dynasty. Additionally, there will be small performances (such as guzheng, bands, and Peking opera), and the cable car can be used for unlimited rides.

Pinggu District

Yaji Mountain

During the summer (July 18 to - August 31), the mountain will open at 6:00 AM on Saturdays and Sundays.

Yanqing District

Badaling Great Wall

Starting from July 8 to August 25, the Great Wall will open earlier at 5:30 AM and close at 5:00 PM. Further adjustments will be made based on visitor traffic and promptly announced.

Night tour of the Great Wall is available from the North Fourth Tower to the South Fourth Tower, with operating hours from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM until October 6, 2024.

Yudu Mountain

On Saturdays and Sundays during the summer, the operating hours are adjusted to 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (last entry).

Duijushi Scenic Area

The summer opening hours are adjusted to 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM from Monday to Friday, and 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

Yeyahu (Wild Duck Lake)

From July 18 to August 31, the daily opening hours are extended to 8:40 AM to 5:30 PM.

Beijing Expo Park

From July 14 to August 31, the operating hours are 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM, with the park closing at 10:00 PM.
