The "L'OR DE DIOR" exhibition was inaugurated with great fanfare on September 1, 2024, at the Guardian Art Center in Beijing.

The exhibition opens with the enchanting "Realm of Wonders" section, setting the stage for a legendary journey through the allure of gold. It exhibits everything from prized archival pieces to modern creations, from the quintessential silhouettes of Dior's fashion to the luxurious evolution of the Dior J'adore perfume line. Integrating narratives from both history and the present with rich creativity, Dior invites visitors to delve into the transformative allure of gold.

Golden Dreams

Each gallery within the exhibition uses vibrant scenes to display the exquisite works created by the fashion house over the past seventy years: from the radiant allure of gold to the splendid world of colorful flora; from the revolutionary "New Look" silhouette to the grandeur of the Palace of Versailles. Each display vividly brings to life the diverse inspirations cherished by Mr. Dior, with each of Dior’s creative directors bringing their exceptional craftsmanship to reinterpret the enchanting allure of gold.

Charm of J'adore

As a symbol of the allure of gold, the Dior J'adore perfume series blends high fashion with fragrance, displaying innovative creativity. This iconic scent has continually evolved and transcended boundaries. Dior’s master perfumer, Francis Kurkdjian, has reimagined its extraordinary fragrance with J'adore, capturing a golden brilliance that embodies the charm of J'adore. The latest perfume ad campaign, featuring international superstar Rihanna, continues to celebrate Dior’s enduring legacy.

Legendary Art

This exhibition offers a captivating sensory experience, interlacing immersive space design with remarkable artworks crafted by both international and Chinese artists.

Dior has carefully curated a series of extraordinary works, collaborating with fourteen distinguished Chinese artists to create a vibrant artistic event. The participating artists include Bao Yang and Liu Wa, Chen Ke, Han Duoyi, Lin Tianmiao, Liu Fujie, Liu Jianhua, Wang Yuyang, Zhang Ding, and Zheng Guogu. Additionally, the exhibition displays special loaned pieces from renowned Chinese artists Ai Jing, Hong Hao, Ma Qiusha, and Shen Wei, creating a journey that includes art and imagination.
