Announcement on Resuming Monday Closures and Extended Hours in September

Dear Valued Visitors,

In order to accommodate the needs of our visitors, the Capital Museum will implement extended hours for certain sessions in September 2024 and will resume closing on Mondays. Please find the details of these changes below:

1. Starting from September 1, 2024 (Saturday), the museum will resume its weekly closure on Mondays. The opening hours from Tuesday to Sunday will be from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

2. Extended hours will be available on September 7 (Saturday), September 14 (Saturday), September 17 (Mid-Autumn Festival), September 21 (Saturday), and September 28 (Saturday).

3. On extended hours days, the museum will remain open until 8:00 PM (with operating hours from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and entry stops at 7:00 PM). Vehicles are allowed to enter the museum premises from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM.

4. Separate reservations are required for the extended hours sessions. Each visitor must make a real-name reservation in advance through the Capital Museum's WeChat official account. Entry without a reservation is not permitted. On-site reservations will be available only if there are unfilled slots. Please visit the museum according to your reserved time slot.
