National Ecology Day, 全国生态日 quán guó shēng tài rì

National Ecology Day is a special day and an opportunity to deepen the public's understanding of Xi Jinping's thought on ecological civilization and improve people's awareness and behavior in protecting the ecological environment.

It was decided at the third session of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) in 2023 that August 15 would be designated as the National Ecology Day.
