On August 12, Universal Beijing Resort announced that its limited-time autumn event, Scares @ Universal will be held earlier this year, from September 7 to November 3. The evening event experiences and scare zones will be available from Thursday to Monday each week (excluding Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and October 3). During this period, the theme park's operating hours will be extended until 10 p.m.
During the event, special daytime activities, including the Monster Minions Meet-and-Greet, will be held every day of the week. Universal Studios' iconic IP, Jack's Circus, will make its debut at Universal Beijing Resort, immersing visitors in an incredibly lifelike environment, where they can explore the backstage and front-stage secrets. Mansion 81 will transport guests to an unprecedented "blockbuster filming set," allowing them to become the main characters in an immersive on-set adventure. The highly acclaimed Wonder Farm from last year will also return, inviting visitors to embark on a thrilling exploration.
Two of Universal Studios' original "Halloween" characters from Jack's Circus, Clown Jack and Chang Si, will make their debut as the "Masters of the Carnival." The fan-favorite character EmoTu, with two distinct personalities in one body, will also return and offer special interactive performances.
The food will be upgraded, featuring not only limited-edition items inspired by characters like EmoTu, but also dark-themed pasta, burgers, and a variety of creatively themed desserts and beverages. The park will also introduce merchandise, including the EmoTu series. Guests can enjoy a range of immersive experiences, such as Universal Studios-themed face painting, the Universal Beijing Resort Explorer Passport, and the "Trick or Treat" Halloween Hunt.
Starting from August 12, 2024, visitors can purchase early bird tickets. Additional ticketing products will be available for purchase beginning August 26. For more ticketing information, visitors can check the official sales channels of Universal Beijing Resort. Universal Beijing Resort also reminds guests that the Universal Spectacle Parade will be temporarily suspended from September 2 to November 8.
