Every year in late March, the Hangzhou Early Cherry Blossoms in the "Early Cherry Blossom Heralds Spring" area of Yuyuantan Park are already in full bloom, creating a dreamlike scene with their pure, soft pink and white hues. In the Cherry Blossom Garden, Yuyuan Chunqiu, and Nanshan Cherry Blossom Viewing Areas, the graceful weeping cherry, delicate and beautiful Higan cherry, and the pure and elegant Yoshino cherry varieties also begin to bloom in succession.
In mid-April, the petals of early cherry varieties such as Yanguang and Ranjingjiye start to drift and dance in the wind within Yuyuantan Park. Mid-season varieties like Baimiao, Songqianhongfeiyi and Bachonghongzhichui gradually unfold, creating a fantasy world of pink and white.

Every April, over a hundred Chinese wisteria plants in Yuyuantan Park's Cherry Blossom Garden, Yuyuan Chunqiu, and Xiaguan Garden burst into bloom, becoming a new highlight for flower appreciation following the cherry blossoms.
Standing beneath the Chinese wisteria trellises, the long clusters of flowers cascade like jade curtains, resembling strings of purple wind chimes, graceful and ethereal, creating a landscape of pink and purple hues reminiscent of a fairy tale spring. During the season when flowers vie for attention, this unique shade of purple is a sight not to be missed in the month of April.
