
On July 23, the exhibition "Ingenious Craftsmanship - Stone Carvings at Quyang" was inaugurated at the National Museum of China in Beijing. This exhibition is co-hosted by the National Museum of China, the Hebei Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Hebei Provincial Administration of Cultural Heritage, the People's Government of Baoding City, the Hebei Museum, and the People's Government of Quyang County. The exhibition features 48 of the most representative Quyang stone carving treasures from various periods, including the Han, Northern and Southern Dynasties, Sui, Tang, Five Dynasties, and Song and Yuan Dynasties. Additionally, 91 outstanding contemporary stone carvings by Quyang artisans are displayed, presenting a comprehensive overview of the different historical periods of Quyang stone carvings and systematically reflecting the heritage, craftsmanship, and artistic innovations of Quyang stone carving.
