2024-06-14

In the summer days, the temperature in Beijing has been very high, but the air is particularly clear. Bring your camera and go to those special scenic spots to explore the diverse and breathtaking scenery of Beijing.

01 Jiuyanlou Great Wall

The Jiuyanlou Great Wall is located in Sihai Town, Yanqing District. Its tower is made of bricks and has nine arrow windows on each side, hence the name "Jiuyanlou".

Climbing to the top along the secluded trail, you can see the green mountains and the distant cityscape of Beijing, which is magnificent and grand. The Jiuyanlou Great Wall is located at the top of Huoyanshan Mountain, at an altitude of 1141 meters. Due to the high and steep terrain, you can vaguely see Beijing from the watchtower, so it is also called the "Wangjing Tower". On a clear day, you can take a clear photo of the China Zun, the tallest building in Beijing located in the Central Business District (CBD), which is over a hundred miles away.

02 Shijingshan Gongbei Pavilion

Shijingshan stands in the northwest corner of the Shougang Park, with an altitude of 183 meters. At the top of the mountain stands a three-story pavilion covered with yellow glazed tiles, which is the Gongbei Pavilion. After renovation at the beginning of this year, the Monument Pavilion opened its doors to visitors. Standing on the Monument Pavilion, you can have a panoramic view of Shijingshan and the new landmark of the capital city's revival, Big Air Shougang and Qunming Lake. On a clear day, you can also see the Shougang Bridge, the pagoda of the Beijing Garden Expo Park, the winding Yongding River, and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Beijing, including a distant view of Chang'an Avenue and the buildings of the China World Trade Center.

03 Wanchun Pavilion in Jingshan Park

There is an ancient "line" in Beijing that tells the history of the city's more than 700 years of history, and that is the Beijing Central Axis.

Wanchun Pavilion in Jingshan Park is the commanding point of the central axis. Standing on the Wanchun Pavilion, you can have a panoramic view of the magnificent Forbidden City, overlooking the majestic buildings of the Palace Museum, and looking far away at the towering buildings of the China World Trade Center.
