On June 9th and 10th, the fourth 2024 BOC Beijing Ballroom Dance World Open Championship was held at the National Indoor Stadium in Beijing.

The two-day event was hosted by the National Indoor Stadium and the BOC Committee, organized by Saiwu (Beijing) International Cultural and Arts Co., Ltd., and supported by the Chaoyang District Federation of Literary and Art and the Chaoyang District Sports Bureau.

The competition invited over a hundred authoritative judges from both domestic and international backgrounds, who are active in the world's top three competitions. More than 6,000 participants from various countries competed in two main categories of international standard dance: Latin and Modern dance. Latin dance included Cha-Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, and Jive, while Modern dance included Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot, and Quickstep.

The event also featured special classes and lectures by renowned international standard dance masters and former world champions, aimed at enhancing the skills of the dancers and providing a platform for exchange, learning, and skill improvement among domestic and international dancers.
