The 16th Beijing Dragon Boat Festival Cultural Season and "Spending Dragon Boat Festival at Great Wall" series of activities
During this year's Dragon Boat Festival holiday, the 16th Beijing Dragon Boat Festival Cultural Season and "Spending Dragon Boat Festival at Great Wall" series of activities are held in key hotels and towns in Yanqing District for three days. The activities include the intangible cultural heritage market, the folk experience, and the art performance, which will bring visitors a unique experience.

Water Great Wall
As the Dragon Boat Festival approaches, the Water Great Wall scenic area offers a variety of Dragon Boat Festival-themed activities, including dragon boat races, children's painting, stamp collecting, water amusement parks, summer camping, and hiking the Great Wall while enjoying chestnut flowers. These activities aim to provide everyone with a joyful time during the holiday.
2024 Beijing Dragon Boat Race
To promote the excellent traditional Chinese culture and enrich the sports events during the Dragon Boat Festival, the 2024 Beijing Dragon Boat Race will be held in the sub-centers on the day of the Dragon Boat Festival (June 10th).
The dragon boat race will take place in the water area of the Beijing International Fortune Center (Qianhe Xielu Bridge - Dongguan Bridge). The race will feature a mixed-gender 200-meter straight sprint race, with 5 lanes and 25 teams participating using 12-person dragon boats.
On the same day, cultural activities for the Dragon Boat Festival in the sub-centers will also be launched. The activities will include dragon boat races, guest interviews, live streaming, and new media interactions. Through 5G cloud broadcasting technology, the dragon boat races will be live-commentated.
