"I have nothing in my hands, but I can defeat the wind." When visitors arrive at the central square of the 798 ArtDist, they enter a beach of poetry. Overnight, numerous large stones "descended" onto the square, each inscribed with intriguing poems that draw visitors to come closer and recite them. As a special public unit project of this year's Gallery Weekend Beijing, the "Poetry Marathon" was initiated by artist Qiu Zhijie. This unique "marathon" will coincide with the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and will continue until August this year.
