Recently, the official website of Beijing Infrastructure Investment Co., Ltd. announced the integrated planning proposal for Line 22 (Pinggu Line). According to the proposal, Pinggu Line will add a new station, the Agricultural Innovation Port Station, located in Pinggu District.

Beijing Subway Line 22 (Pinggu Line) is a regional express line spanning Beijing and Hebei Province under the context of coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

Starting from Dongdaqiao in Chaoyang District to the west and ending at Pinggu New Town to the east, the line passes through Chaoyang District, Tongzhou District, Sanhe City of Hebei Province, Pinggu District, and other areas, connecting key functional zones such as CBD core area, Dingfuzhuang cluster, sub-center of Beijing, Yanjiao of Hebei, Pinggu New Town, etc.

The newly announced integrated planning proposal for Pinggu Line has increased one station compared to the previous 21 stations, with a total length of about 82 kilometers. The newly added station is located in Pinggu District, named the Agricultural Innovation Port Station, which is west of Pinggu Station, the first station of the entire line.
