2024 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition

After a four-year hiatus, the 18th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition is set to make a grand return! From April 25th to May 4th, 2024, the event will be held at the China International Exhibition Center. Covering a total area of 220,000 square meters, the theme of this edition is "Driving to Smart Mobility."

Exhibition Highlights

As the most anticipated international A-level auto show of the year, the Auto China 2024 returns after a four-year hiatus, featuring a global debut of 117 vehicles (including 30 globally debuted vehicles from multinational corporations), 41 concept cars, and 278 new energy vehicles.

The BMW Group announced that the BMW Vision NEUE KLASSE will make its debut in the Chinese market, while MINI's first all-electric crossover, the MINI ACEMAN, and the BMW i4 will have their global premieres. Additionally, the BMW Group will showcase new models such as the new BMW 4 Series family, the BMW M high-performance model, the new BMW M4, and the BMW iX5 hydrogen fuel cell vehicle at this year's Auto China 2024.

Mercedes-Benz has announced that it will showcase 21 new vehicles at the exhibition, including 1 global debut, 7 China debuts, and 8 models making their debut at the show. Among them, the Mercedes-Benz all-electric G-Class off-road vehicle will have its global premiere, the Mercedes-Benz CLA concept car will debut in China, and the first mass-produced all-electric model from Maybach, the Maybach EQS all-electric SUV, will be launched in China.

At this exhibition, Volkswagen Group will present its various brands, including 6 global debuts and 5 China debuts. Volkswagen Brand will introduce a new intelligent all-electric vehicle category and announce its official name. The first car under this new category, 'ID.UNYX & Together,' will make its debut, marking the premiere of Volkswagen's golden standard. This model, positioned as an A-class all-electric coupe SUV, is set to be launched in the Chinese market later this year.

Additionally, Audi will debut its first all-electric model tailored for the Chinese market, the Audi Q6L e-tron, globally. Porsche will officially announce the pricing for its all-new all-electric Macan.

This year, new energy vehicles from domestic brands remain a major highlight. The all-new intelligent selection model, Enjoy S9, jointly developed by Huawei and BAIC BluePark, will make its official debut. Positioned as a mid-to-large-sized sedan, this model aims to impress. Additionally, the new M5 will be officially unveiled at the exhibition, featuring a red color scheme. The jointly developed Huawei and Chery smart selection model, Smart Selection S7, will also be showcased at the Auto China 2024.

The BYD Qin L, positioned as a midsize sedan, will have its debut. The fifth model, Zeekr MIX, will have its global premiere. Geely's high-end new energy series, Geely Galaxy, will globally debut a full-size SUV prototype, positioning itself as a technological flagship SUV. Xiaomi Motors will also participate in this year's Auto China 2024.

As for the new forces in the automotive industry, Xiaopeng Motors will launch a new brand and its first model. Nezha L from Nezha Automobile will make its first appearance.

Exhibition Time

China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall): April 27th to May 4th, with April 25th and 26th designated as exhibition news days, specifically for receiving domestic and international media journalists for on-site visits, interviews, and coverage. April 27th to 28th will be for professional visitors, while April 29th to May 4th will be open to the public. The visiting hours for both professional and public days, except for May 4th, are from 10:00 to 18:00. On May 4th, the visiting hours will be from 10:00 to 16:00.

China International Exhibition Center (Chaoyang Hall): April 25th to 27th. On April 25th and 26th, visiting hours are from 9:00 to 17:00, and on April 27th, visiting hours are from 9:00 to 15:00.

Purchasing Notice

1. The 2024 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition adopts electronic admission tickets only. All visitors to this edition of the auto show must purchase tickets through real-name reservation and enter the venue with their ID cards. Visitors need to make ticket reservations online and enter the venue with their original ID cards. Visitors can follow the official WeChat account of the "Beijing International Automotive Exhibition" and access the "Beijing International Automotive Exhibition Ticketing" mini-program to purchase electronic tickets, or log on to the official website www.autochinashow.org to purchase tickets.

2. Visitors to the parts exhibition area at the Chaoyang Hall of the China International Exhibition Center do not need to purchase tickets but must register in advance on the official website.

3. All credential holders and visitors who have purchased electronic tickets for the next day must activate their credentials or electronic tickets and bind them with their ID cards before 18:00 on the day before entering the venue. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to enter the venue the next day.

4. Visitors can purchase tickets by real-name registration through the official WeChat account "Beijing International Automotive Exhibition" - "Ticket Service" - "Purchase Tickets" menu to log in to the "Beijing International Automotive Exhibition Ticketing" mini-program and the Ctrip APP. The organizers of the auto show have not authorized any other organizations or platforms to sell tickets. Visitors are advised to choose the correct ticket purchasing channel. This year's auto show will be held at the Beijing China International Exhibition Center in Shunyi Hall and Chaoyang Hall. The Shunyi Hall will mainly showcase domestic and international passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, as well as some renowned technology companies and media related to the automotive industry. The Chaoyang Hall will mainly exhibit domestic and international automotive parts, equipment, and related products.

Beijing Railway Station:

By car: Approximately 29 kilometers, takes about 60 minutes, and costs around 80 yuan.

By subway: Approximately 70 minutes. Take Line 2 (loop line, direction: Jianguomen) from Beijing Station to Yonghegong Station, transfer to Line 5 (direction: Tiantongyuan North) to Datunlu East Station, then transfer to Line 15 (direction: Fengbo) to Guozhan Station (Exit A northwest), and finally walk about 400 meters to China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall). 

Beijingnan Railway Station:

By taxi: Approximately 34 kilometers, takes about 65 minutes, and costs around 100 yuan.

By subway: Approximately 75 minutes. Take Line 14 (direction: Shangezhuang) from Beijingnan Railway Station to Wangjing Station, transfer to Line 15 (direction: Fengbo) to Guozhan Station (Exit A northwest), and finally walk about 400 meters to 'China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall).

Beijingxi Railway Station:

By taxi: Approximately 41 kilometers, takes about 60 minutes, and costs around 105 yuan.

By subway: Approximately 80 minutes. Take Line 7 (direction: Universal Resort) from Beijingxi Railway Station station to Ciqikou station, transfer to Line 5 (direction: Tiantongyuan North) to Datunlu East station, then transfer to Line 15 (direction: Fengbo) to Guozhan station (Exit A northwest), and finally walk about 400 meters to "China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall)."
