Completed and put into operation in June 1993, Shougang No.3 Blast Furnace is the first modern large-scale blast furnace in Shougang with a capacity exceeding 2500 cubic meters. The design adopts the “repair as old” approach, preserving the core industrial structures such as the main body of the furnace, hot blast stove, and gravity dust remover, and transforming them into the world’s first center of its kind. The blend of strong industrial culture and futuristic elements makes it one of the must-visit landmarks in the park. Xiu Pool was built in 1940 as a circulating water pool for iron smelting. After renovation, the surface of Xiu Pool has become a picturesque water pool, while the underground part serves as an underground garage that can accommodate 855 vehicles and a circular sunken exhibition hall.
