The "2024 Beijing Daxing Half Marathon" will start on the morning of April 27th in Weishanzhuang Town, Daxing District.

This year's event will still have a participation limit of 6,000 people, but the participation mode has changed from the traditional four-category classification to two modes: "Half Marathon" and "7 km Fun Run". The "Half Marathon" will have 4,500 participants, and the "7 km Fun Run" will have 1,500 participants.

This event has undergone multiple upgrades and optimizations. The climate and track environment are more suitable for outdoor sports. Weishanzhuang Town's forest area is one of the 12 typical ecosystems in the city. In recent years, it has accumulated 37,000 mu of afforestation and greening, completed the construction of over 7,000 square meters of ecological wetlands, and achieved a greening coverage rate of 65%. It has also implemented the improvement and transformation of 28 pocket parks and a 21-kilometer slow walking trail, relying on the overall improvement of the environmental construction level.
