Mutianyu Great Wall is located in Huairou District, Beijing. Surrounded by mountains, it has beautiful scenery with a vegetation coverage rate of over 96%. The landscape changes with the seasons, creating an excellent natural environment and a natural ecological oxygen bar.

From mid to late March to mid-April each year, Mutianyu Great Wall showcases its best flower viewing time. On March 30th, it will host the Mountain Flower Festival, themed "Ancient Charm-Floral Splendor at Mutianyu".

Mutianyu Great Wall is adorned with green trees and red flowers, showing its ancient charm with black bricks and gray eaves. In late March, spring flowers there gradually enter their blooming season. As the winter jasmine, magnolia, forsythia, and cercis chinensis bloom one after another within the scenic area, the mountains are blanketed with mountain peach blossoms and mountain apricot blossoms, creating a romantic ambiance at the Great Wall. Visitors can enjoy the tranquility of the Great Wall amidst grand bricks and a sea of pink and white flowers.

During the Mountain Flower Festival, Mutianyu Great Wall not only offers flower viewing opportunities but also hosts a variety of activities. Visitors will be immersed in innovative interactive activities in the world of spring flowers. Those who dressed in Hanfu, traditional clothing worn by the Han Chinese, can enjoy discounts on admission. Special spring dishes prepared by Mutianyu Great Wall Hotel offer a delightful eating experience in spring. Traditional fairs of intangible cultural heritage, Hanfu parades, and captivating performances provide visitors with a visual and auditory feast of traditional and Great Wall culture, igniting visitors’ passion for spring.

Mutianyu Scenic Area recommends two flower-viewing and hiking routes for you to choose from based on your preferences and physical condition:

1. "Emperor's Route": Visitors can opt for taking the cable car directly to Platform 14.

2. "Extreme Challenge Route": Visitors can hike along the mountain trails to Gates 6, 8, or 10, and then proceed to explore the Great Wall.
