Temple of Heaven Park

Currently, the magnolia flowers at the Temple of Heaven have bloomed. The noble and elegant white magnolia flowers, under the eaves of the ancient halls, gracefully unfurl their slender petals, swaying in the breeze with a vibrant demeanor.

Every year when the magnolia branches are laden with flowers, a fragrant aroma wafts through the palace halls. The combination of the red walls and white magnolias creates a classic Chinese painting scene, attracting many visitors to visit.

Temple of Earth Park

Temple of Earth Park is located on Andingmen Outer Street, facing the Lama Temple, the Confucius Temple, and the Imperial College across the river. It was originally the site where the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshipped the "God of Land." Today, it is also one of the must-see spots for enjoying the spring scenery in Beijing.

Recently, the magnolias inside the Imperial Ancestral Temple have blossomed. Against the backdrop of red walls and green tiles, the magnolia flowers appear even more pure and pristine, attracting many photographers and visitors to stop and take pictures.

Summer Palace

Many magnolia trees are planted in front and behind the Hall of Happiness and Longevity (Leshou Hall) in the Summer Palace, making it a famous spot for viewing magnolia flowers in Beijing. Two tall white magnolia trees are planted in the front courtyard of Leshou Hall. When in full bloom, they are known for their "jade-carved cups filled with abundant flowers." Currently, the magnolia flowers at Leshou Hall have entered the viewing period.

Beijing Grand View Garden

The Beijing Grand View Garden is a classical garden with unique characteristics. It was the filming location for the 1987 TV series The Dream of Red Mansion.

As the spring breeze caresses the face, the magnolia flowers in front of the Grand View Building are in full bloom, filling the air with a refreshing fragrance. The pure white petals, framed by the architecture, exude an elegant and graceful charm.

The Beijing International Sculpture Park has the largest planting area, the most diverse varieties, and is the most well-known spot for viewing magnolia flowers in Beijing. It has successfully held the Magnolia Viewing Season for 20 consecutive years.

Tanzhe Temple

On the east side in front of the Pilu Pavilion inside Tanzhe Temple, there are two magnolia trees dated back to the Qing Dynasty, known as the "Er Qiao Magnolias". Since these two magnolia trees grow on the east side of the Pilu Pavilion, they have the symbolic meaning of "purple air coming from the east", which means a propitious omen and are therefore considered as sacred trees. Every year during the blooming season in early April, the purple and white magnolia flowers bloom magnificently like brilliant clouds, making it a spectacular sight.
