Wangfujing Bookstore
Wangfujing Bookstore, established in 1949, is as old as the People's Republic of China itself and is known as the "First Store of the Republic." It has witnessed the changes and development of the Chinese cultural publishing industry.
On the first floor of the bookstore, you will mainly find books related to social sciences, philosophy, political science, law, history, and humanities. The second floor is primarily dedicated to elementary and middle school students, displaying various textbooks, study guides, review materials, dictionaries, etc., classified by subjects and grade levels. The third floor primarily showcases children's books. Among them, the children's reading area is uniquely designed, with a large pendant lamp resembling a globe, a spacious and comfortable lighting atmosphere, a quiet reading ambiance, and a wide selection of books for children of all ages, making it a great place for parent-child reading. In the new school term, bring your children here to visit and explore.
Address: 218 Wangfujing Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing.
