Festive Fun: Spring Festival Celebration at These Theme Parks

2024-02-16

Festive decorations, new performances, and products incorporating elements of the Year of the Dragon... Universal Beijing Resort and Beijing Happy Valley are ready to welcome visitors with a strong festive spirit.

"Universal's Chinese New Year" kicked off on January 27 and will run until March 10, 2024 at the Universal Beijing Resort, a new destination for tourists during the Spring Festival holiday.

During this themed event, a festive spirit extends from the Universal CityWalk Beijing to every corner of the resort. The Hollywood-themed area also has decorations featuring the dragon-related elements. Visitors can immerse themselves in the vibrant festival market at the Universal's Chinese New Year Square open to the general public for the first time. Special performances, dishes, and limited-edition products for the event are also available.

Beijing Happy Valley's Spring Festival kicked off on February 10 and will run until February 25.

Beijing Happy Valley welcomes the return of the thousand-year-old molten iron firework show. The park is aglow with festive lighting to create a particularly joyful atmosphere. The newly opened Nafu Town in northeastern Chinese style and the Fish Lantern Dance, an intangible cultural heritage item that has been included in the Night Lantern Parade, provide visitors with romantic experiences.

POP LAND's special New Year's event will run until February 16, during which anyone purchasing the POP LAND ticket will receive a "Fu" (福) poster of the POP LAND Temple Fair series. Visitors can spend the festival with their favorite copyrighted characters and reap the blessings of the season, witness the unique combination of technology with festivities, and sample a range of culinary delights.
