After a four-year hiatus, today marks the opening of the 36th Spring Festival temple fair in Ditan Park. According to previous years' data, the peak visiting time is on the second day of the lunar new year, and the peak entry time is from 10am to 2pm. Visitors are advised to plan their time accordingly to avoid crowds. The fair will close on February 16th (the seventh day of the lunar new year).
The daily performance of the Qing sacrificial ceremony
The Qing sacrificial ceremony is the main cultural feature and classic brand of the Spring Festival temple fair in Ditan Park. The performance recreates the scene of the emperor's sacrificial ceremony during the Qing Dynasty, with the meaning of praying for peace and prosperity, favorable weather conditions, abundant harvest of the five grains. It will be performed every day at 9am from the second to the seventh day of the lunar new year.
The entire Ditan Park will have three stages, with one performance in the morning and one in the afternoon each day. National-level intangible cultural heritage performances with distinctive local folk culture features, such as Cangzhou lion dance, Gaizhou stilts, and majestic war drums, will allow visitors to experience the long history and festive atmosphere of the fair.

The Ditan Temple Fair has an on-site ticket sales window. The full price for the fair ticket is 10 yuan per person, while the discounted price is 5 yuan per person.
During the fair, according to the relevant policies in the city, primary, middle, and high school students (including full-time undergraduate and below) can purchase discounted tickets (5 yuan per ticket) by presenting their student ID. Senior citizens aged 60 and above can also purchase discounted tickets (5 yuan per ticket) by presenting their valid identification. Tickets will be verified upon entry. Children under 6 years old or with a height of 1.2 meters and below can enter for free. Special groups such as disabled individuals, active military personnel, retired cadres, and national comprehensive fire rescue personnel can also enter for free by presenting their valid identification. During the event, city-owned annual park passes and monthly passes for Ditan Park are not valid.
Ditan Park reminds visitors that smoking is strictly prohibited, and please do not bring dangerous items such as flammable or explosive materials and pets to the fair.
