On January 14th, inside the China Traditional Culture Museum, the "Northern Shaanxi Folk Song Exhibition (Yulin Shaanxi)" is currently underway. The "Songs from Northen Shaanxi  Echo across China" public welfare promotion event, Yuyang District session, coincided with the visit of the attendees. Artists such as Zhao Dadi, Xu Jingjing, Yu Haiyang, Sun Changxian, and Song Jing from central-level art troupes and local artists from northern Shaanxi took the stage, transforming the venue into the vast and boundless Loess Plateau, presenting two audio-visual feasts for the visitors.

The performance kicked off with the magnificent chorus "The Beauty of the Red Blooms in the Mountain." With full enthusiasm and vibrant melodies, artists showcased the heroic sentiments of the people of northern Shaanxi. Subsequently, Shaanbei folk songs such as "Flying with the wind," "Lan Huahua," resonated one after another, eliciting applause from the audience. The suona performance of "Loess Love" demonstrated the unique charm of traditional instruments, reaching a climax. Finally, the performance concluded with a humorous and lively storytelling session in the Shaanbei dialect.

On that day, the museum was bustling with people. Once the performance started, visitors stopped to appreciate it and responded warmly. "I didn't expect to see such a professionally splendid performance in the art museum. Listening to one Shaanbei folk song after another, I feel like I'm walking on the Loess Plateau, making the exhibition more vivid and interesting," exclaimed an excited visitor.

The "Northern Shaanxi Folk Song Exhibition (Yulin Shaanxi)" opened on December 27, 2023, and will continue until June 27, 2024. By replicating the exhibition model of the Northen Shaanxi Folk Song Museum in all aspects, it allows visitors to explore the splendid and colorful past and present of Northen Shaanxi folk songs from multiple dimensions.
