Lishi Bookstore
Lishi Bookstore is located on the east side of Nanlishi Road. As a book room opened by Beijing Institute of Architectural Design and Research Co., Ltd., it not only has a large collection of books from the Beijing Institute of Architectural Design and Research and rich new books on architecture and art, but also uses its own spatial advantages and industry resources to organize and carry out online and offline cultural exchange activities such as master lectures on architecture, book sharing meetings, art salons, book donations, and DIY handicrafts.
The spatial design of the study was created by designers from the Beijing Institute of Architectural Design and Research. The interior reading space includes a reading area, a meeting room, an interactive experience area, an art gallery, a cultural and creative display area, a coffee bar, and a tea space. Following the principle of "revitalizing old spaces with new vitality and making small spaces multifunctional," the immersive method is used to enhance the spatial experience through themed rooms, semi-partitioned layouts, and window seats.
This is a "special little world" for professionals and enthusiasts in the field of architecture. High-quality professional books from both domestic and foreign sources, especially the rare collection of the Beijing Institute of Architectural Design and Research library, not only meet the needs of professionals but also allow non-professional readers to understand the profound cultural connotations of Chinese and foreign architecture. Therefore, the Lishi Study has also become a showcase for the cultural dissemination of the architecture industry.
