The folk songs of northern Shaanxi are full of love for the loess, and the intangible cultural heritage flowers are blooming in the capital. On December 27, the "Northern Shaanxi Folk Song Exhibition (Yulin, Shaanxi)" opened at the China National Arts and Crafts Museum.

"Northern Shaanxi Folk Song Exhibition (Yulin, Shaanxi)" is located in the 3rd and 4th exhibition halls on the fourth floor of the China National Arts and Crafts Museum. The exhibition area is about 3,200 square meters. The exhibition content is divided into the preface hall, the thousand-year-old roots buried in the loess, and Shandan. The elixir blossoms are red and bright, the stars in the sky are bright, the watch is not the legacy of the root, the faith in the sky will never be finished, and other chapters. The entire exhibition will last for half a year and will end on June 27, 2024. During this period, relevant departments in Yulin City and various counties and cities will hold a number of activities.

Zhou Qingfu, president of the Chinese National Academy of Arts and director of the China National Arts and Crafts Museum, said that this exhibition focuses on the live performance of classic folk songs in northern Shaanxi, and uses a variety of display methods to achieve this in a limited space. , fully presenting the "ancient and present", "form and soul", "people and objects", and "stillness and movement" of northern Shaanxi folk songs, is an important exploration of the museum's display of musical intangible cultural heritage.
