Recently, the 9th Beijing Shunyi Ice and Snow Hot Spring Festival opened at Shine Hills. In 2023, Shunyi District will launch three winter-themed boutique tourism routes, connecting various popular destinations, including cultural sceneries, accommodations, neighborhoods and parks, cultural and artistic spaces, and reading spaces, such as Xinhua Bookstore, Shunyi Olympic Rowing-Canoeing Park, Luo Hong Art Museum, Zhongjia Palace Hot Spring Hotel, Beijing Wenyuhe Park, and Beijing International Flower Port. Visitors are invited to experience the winter charm of Shunyi.
At the South Square of Shine Hills, "Shunyi Gifts", specialty food of Shunyi, and VR skiing experience have attracted many citizens. Companies such as Lianhua Mountain Ski Resort, Qiaobo Ice and Snow World, and Beijing Shunyi Cultural Tourism Investment Group took turns to promote recent special events.
The winter boutique tourism routes include a one-day parent-child tour, a two-day winter joy tour, and a winter cultural and art tour.
The one-day parent-child tour includes YWORLDBAO, Rayen Town, and Hot Spring Paradise in Heyuan Royal Garden Hotel.
The two-day winter joy tour includes a two-day itinerary. On the first day, visitors can arrange to visit the Qiaobo Ice and Snow World, Shunyi Olympic Rowing-Canoeing Park Snow World, and the Beijing Junhe Haosheng Hot Spring Resort (formerly called Macrolink Legend Hotel). On the second day, visitors can visit the Beijing International Flower Port near the hotel, the Memorial Hall of Jiaozhuanghu Tunnel Warfare Site, and the Enjoy Xiangzhu · Banshan Yaji (Chinese: 享筑·伴山雅集) B&B.
The winter cultural and art tour starts from the National Base for International Cultural Trade, where visitors can appreciate well-known domestic and foreign exhibitions. After visiting the exhibition, the Xinhua Bookstore in the Shunyi section of the Beijing Wenyuhe Park, makes the tour enjoyable with a pot of hot tea and the fragrance of books. Later, the Zhongjia Palace Hot Spring Hotel is an ideal place for accommodation. On the second day, the Shine Hills, Luo Hong Art Museum, and Song Art Museum, complete the art vibes of the tour.
