The Beijing Meteorological Observatory made the following announcement at 6:00 this morning:

Expect light snow or scattered flurries turning to mostly cloudy skies, with light to moderate north-to-south winds of force one or two and the maximum temperature of 1℃ during the daytime. Tonight, it will be partly cloudy to clear, with gentle south-to-north winds of force one or two and the lowest temperature of -7℃. A yellow warning for road icing is in effect. Please use caution while traveling today due to slippery roads caused by this morning's snowfall. Since there are low temperatures, remember to keep warm!

Additionally, a blue-level blizzard warning is currently in effect for Fangshan and Changping districts.
