01 National Aquatics Center

The National Aquatics Center (also known as Water Cube or Ice Cube) was completed in January 2008. During the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, the "Water Cube" was transformed into the "Ice Cube" and became the only Olympic venue in the world capable of hosting both water and ice events. After the Beijing Winter Olympics, the National Aquatics Center became the first Winter Olympics venue open to the public and provided venues for both water and ice sports.

The "Ice Cube" ice sports center is located 11 meters underground in the south square of the National Aquatics Center. It offers ice skating, curling, and other sports projects. It provides both ice experiences for the public and training courses. The venue attracts many people every day.

The venue has a standard ice rink of 1830 square meters and a curling area with four standard curling tracks measuring 45 meters by 5 meters each. The overall operating area is 8000 square meters. Ice sports fans are skating on the ice rink, enjoying freedom and speed. On the other side of the curling rink, tourists experience the joy of throwing a curling stone for the first time with the sound of "bang" as the stones collide.

02 Le Cool Ice-skating Rink

Located in the central area of the CBD of Beijing, Le Cool Ice-skating Rink is one of Beijing's well-known indoor ice rinks. The Le Cool Ice-skating Rink opened in 1999. As the first real ice-skating rink built inside a shopping mall in Beijing, it has been operating for over 20 years and has witnessed the changes in ice sports in Beijing.

The Le Cool Ice-skating Rink covers an area of 1450 square meters, with an ice area of 800 square meters. It can accommodate around 150 people at the same time. The temperature above the ice surface is maintained at 17 degrees Celsius. It is one of the most attractive projects in the China World Mall.

On the ice, some ice skaters are spinning and dancing, some are wobbling and learning to walk on ice, and there are also children slowly gliding hand in hand with their coaches. The ice rink is covered by a transparent glass dome. When you look up, you can see the blue sky and white clouds. With dynamic music, doing ice sports here is a great pleasure.

The diverse activities are also a feature of the Le Cool Ice-skating Rink. Ice carnivals, Peking Opera ice parties, and various themed ice activities allow visitors to enjoy performances and experience the charm of ice sports.
